How to Display a Number on Your Landing Page

Retreaver can automatically display tracking numbers on your landing pages. This involves adding a single script to the <head/> tag of your landing page which maps any parameters you are tracking and helps to determine which tracking number to present.

Add Retreaver.js to your page

Go to Campaigns, click the CID of the campaign you want to track calls into, and then click the Retreaver.js tab. Learn more about campaigns and their usage here.

Add Retreaver.js to the <head/> section

Place the Retreaver.js snippet for the Campaign into the <head> section of your landing page. You can use the copy icon to copy the script to your clipboard for pasting.

Set your parameter mapping

Add URL Parameter Sniffing to your campaign to tell Retreaver which number to display. Retreaver will use these settings to match URL parameters to the tags in your account.

When you tag Numbers, Retreaver will try to match those tags - and present that number to the visitor. Or simply use a Number Pool and Retreaver will automatically tag the numbers presented.

Tell Retreaver which number(s) to replace

Whether you have numbers embedded in your header, links, buttons or inside paragraph text on our landing page; Retreaver can replace any of them automatically.

Simply copy the number from your page and add to the Number Replacement section of your campaign's Retreaver.js settings.

Tip: Don't forget to add the number format for click-to-call as well, usually +1##########.
